Six Nations Championship Rugby Dinner
Each year, our rugby dinner in association with Tesco, celebrates the very best in rugby and is supported by many well known faces from across the UK’s rugby pitches. On 18th January 2012, the event was held at the London Hilton on Park Lane and celebrated the career of renowned England Lock, Simon Shaw OBE who holds over 60 caps for his country.
Players honoured in previous years include Ben Kay (2011), Joe Worsley (2010), Lee Mears (2009), Matt Perry (2008), Mark Reagan (2007), Richard Hill (2006), Jason Leonard (2005), Lawrence Dallaglio & Mike Catt (2004), John Mallett (2003), Richard Cockerill, Darren Garforth & Graham Rowntree (2002), Adedayo Adebayo (2001), Victor Ubogu (2000), Jon Callard (1999) and Nigel Redman (1998).
This wonderful evening includes a champagne reception, three-course dinner and some wonderful entertainment.The proceeds from ticket sales, along with the raffle and auction of music and rugby memorabilia raises thousands of pounds for Nordoff Robbins’ vital work transforming the lives of some of the UK’s most vulnerable children and adults through music.
