Specialist Music Lessons
Do you want to learn to play a musical instrument, to sing or write songs? Do you know or care for someone who is keen to do this?
Our new specialist music teaching service is aimed specifically at people living with a disability or illness as well as those with other challenges such as emotional or behavioural difficulties or autistic spectrum disorders.
At Nordoff Robbins we have many years of experience of enabling people living with disability, illness or other challenges to access music-making.
We have a limited number of spaces for people who want to learn to play the piano or keyboard or flute, to sing or write songs.
We accept people of all levels of ability. All that is required is an ability to learn.
Skill levels range from absolute beginner up to Grade 8 standard.
At present this service is offered in three areas of the UK:
- In London (lessons take place at the Nordoff Robbins London Centre in Kentish Town).
- In the South East (lessons take place at the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Unit in Croydon).
- In the Bath/Bristol area (different venues for lessons may be negotiated).
