Learning Resources Centre
Our specialist music therapy library, known as the Learning Resources Centre, is the largest in the UK and the leading archive of books, journals and audio/visual material on music therapy. In addition the Learning Resources Centre has continually updated resources on:
- music and health
- music, culture and society
- music theory
- music, mind and brain
- psychology
- pathology
- socio-cultural theory
- arts therapies
- research
It is a fantastic resource for music therapy students, researchers, health professionals and individuals and we welcome any visitors wanting to find out more about music therapy.
Visiting the Learning Resources Centre
Based at the Nordoff Robbins London Centre the Learning Resources Centre is available to members of the public for study and reference purposes by prior arrangement. Download the Visit Form and return to the Education Administrator, Gemma Fleet.
Inter-library loan requests
Books, dissertations and doctoral theses can be loaned free of charge to Nordoff Robbins staff and students (postage costs may apply).
Other professionals and institutions can apply to borrow items by filling in the Inter-library Loan Request form and returning it to the Education Administrator, Gemma Fleet. Items can be borrowed for three weeks and renewed once. Longer loans may be negotiated.
