Developing the Evidence

A hands-on approach to evaluating Arts Therapies and Arts and Health practices

Course summary

This intensive workshop is designed for arts therapists and arts and health professionals who need to develop practical skills in monitoring and evaluation procedures appropriate to individual workplaces.

The workshop will cover planning, instituting and analysing of tailor-made monitoring and evaluation, and will encourage practitioners to respond to the demands of the workplace while not compromising the essence of their artistic endeavours.

In addition, information gathering methods and instruments will be discussed and participants are encouraged to bring their own experiences of demands and responses for evidence from the workplace for discussion (time permitting). 

Course duration

The workshop is offered as a one-day (6 hour) session or as three consecutive weekly evening sessions (3 x 2 hours).
