Research Governance
The Research Department established the Nordoff Robbins research governance framework in 2004 in consultation with Professor Jackie Campbell, Chair of the Research Forum for the Allied Health Professions, and a Governor of Nordoff Robbins. The resulting framework ensures best practice for research within the organisation, and monitors research education.

NRREC ensures that all research projects associated with the organisation are in line with current national professional standards; it monitors ethical standards, and ensures consistency of quality in any research associated with Nordoff Robbins. This includes:
• research that is wholly or partly funded by Nordoff Robbins,
• research that wishes to use the title ‘Nordoff Robbins’ to apply for (external?) funding or to credit the organisation on publication,
• research undertaken within, or through, Nordoff Robbins
• research undertaken as part of the MMT, MA, or MPhil/PhD Research Degree Programme
