Help us improve people’s lives

Our goal is to raise £30m by 2024 in order to meet the increasing need for music therapy services across the UK. And we need your help to do it.

We need your support

We’ve seen music therapy encourage a child with autism speak for the first time, a grandmother with dementia remember her wedding dance and a young man with head trauma improve his coordination. We have thousands of stories like this. The chance to help improve the quality of people’s lives is what drives us every single day.

While there may be no cure for these kinds of conditions and situations, we know that music therapy can make a real difference to the lives of these people.

Right now in the UK there are:

  • 700K people on the autistic spectrum
  • 132K people admitted to hospitals each year with a stroke
  • 2.8 million people living with cancer
  • Nearly 6 million people living with severe depression
  • 1 million people with dementia
  • 348K people admitted to hospitals each year having suffered a brain injury

How your support can help

£5 could give a child like Patsy, who has autism, a set of drumsticks to express herself beyond words

£25 could pay for someone like Gareth with neurological damage, to connect with others in a group musical therapy session

£50 could pay for someone like Omalora, with severe learning disabilities, to build her confidence through one-to-one therapy.
