13th May 2022 Announcing our 2022 Summer School for Music Therapists Music therapists from around the world are invited to join us for four days of sharing work and views, and input into the practice and thinking of the Nordoff Robbins approach. The course will be held online 18th – 21st July 2022. News Nordoff Robbins annual international Summer School for music therapists will now be held online for the third year in succession. The course will be held online 18th – 21st July 2022. The Summer School offers music therapists who trained in other traditions practical experience of the ideas and techniques of the Nordoff Robbins approach to music therapy. What does the Summer School include? The Summer School will include: Practical workshops in musical techniques and awareness Sharing and discussion of participants’ own music therapy work (for which participants will need to bring recent recordings of their work) Seminars discussing current principles underlying Nordoff Robbins music therapy and current developments in the approach Input on music therapy research All with a strong emphasis on practical music-making.
