9th January 2020 Nordoff Robbins to offer two fully-funded places for BME applicants on our London-based MMT programme Impact and Governance News Policy Research Thanks to the generous support of a charitable trust, we are delighted to be able to offer two fully funded places for BME applicants to our 2020-22 Master of Music Therapy programme – based in London. At Nordoff Robbins we’ve been training music therapists since 1974, and our ‘Master of Music Therapy course is an internationally renowned Masters programme, validated by Goldsmiths, University of London. Our tutors run the programme from training bases in London, Manchester and Newcastle – with successful completion of the two-year course giving graduates eligibility to apply to the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) for registration as a music therapist (which is the UK legal prerequisite for working in the profession). As the UK’s largest single employer of music therapists after the NHS, we are committed to increasing accessibility to our service and our training programme, whilst supporting and promoting diversity in our charity across the board – something which will be which will be significantly helped by this new bursary.
