London Marathon 2017 – Nordoff Robbins Party!

The Biggest Race of the Year

This Sunday will see 50,000 runners take to the roads of London, bravely attempting to conquer the 26 miles and 385 yards that make up the London Marathon. There are few challenges that come close in the level of dedication required to see a marathon through to the end, and we’re so pleased to have a valiant team of 8 runners taking part to support music therapy.

Where to Find Us On the Day

On the day we’ll be set up at the Royal Foundation of St Katharine, where we’ll be joined by singers from our amazing supporters at Rock Choir putting on a show and cheering on the runners! Everyone is welcome, so whether you want to cheer on a friend or just support the cause, you’re more than welcome to come and soak up the atmosphere, and enjoy the food and beverages available at the venue, all while giving the heroes running a much-needed boost!

What your treat will be after completing the London Marathon – After completing it I shall look forward to a train journey home back to Yorkshire whilst wearing my medal and eating a banana! The following week I shall begin to over indulge in all the things that I have stayed clear of for a while, particularly Easter eggs! And, I shall get back to a gentle 3 mile plod of the streets on the Tuesday.
