Nordoff Robbins Welcomes New Trustee

We are proud to announce that the Nordoff Robbins board of Trustee’s has welcomed Ivan Rudd to the fold.

Ivan is a Public Health Specialist at Kent County Council working alongside District and Clinical Commissioning Groups, who are dedicated to keeping people well and aiding recovery for those suffering with ill health.  Ivan has particular insight into mental wellbeing and the challenges faced by those, including young people, who are experiencing mental health issues; an area of work which we ourselves are committed to supporting.

For over 15 years he has worked at Board level in the NHS and community sectors, and has a demonstrable track record of developing healthy organisations and delivering positive change.  Ivan has worked in the independent, voluntary and not for profit sectors and has particular understanding of NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups.

Ivan hopes he can help Nordoff Robbins to continue growing its national impact and help more people connect with the life-changing power of music.

CEO of Nordoff Robbins Julie Whelan says “This is a very important time for us at Nordoff Robbins as we have just committed to a new four year strategic plan which sets out an ambitious growth plan.

We are committed to making our music therapy accessible to so many more vulnerable and isolated people, and Ivan’s expertise and commitment will be invaluable to us in reaching that goal.

We are delighted to have Ivan on board and together we look forward to this very exciting time of positive development for Nordoff Robbins
