Event organiser, former Bath & England player Victor Ubogu said, “Whilst I am sad that we cannot pay tribute to Richard in person, I am confident we can celebrate his acclaimed career and have a great evening together. We founded this event 26 years ago, and we weren’t about to let one year pass without honouring a brilliant player, and raising much needed funds for Nordoff Robbins, even in this current time and have a jolly good time doing it!” Since its launch in December 1995, the dinner has been attended by the great and good of rugby and a glittering array of musical acts from some of the world’s finest, illustrious performers. Previous acts have included Madness, Stereophonics, Little Mix, Bananarama, Tony Hadley, Steps, Simply Red, Dua Lipa, Emile Sande, Keane, Lulu, Girls Aloud, Texas, KT Tunstall and Craig David.
