Third Sector Business Charity Awards: Nordoff Robbins wins an award!

Nordoff Robbins win award for Charity Partnership, Media & Entertainment category for our 2020 Christmas Carols service

We are so thrilled to have won the Charity Partnership, Media & Entertainment Award for our 2020 Christmas Carols service!

In 2020, we partnered up with a diverse group of companies to bring our annual carol service fundraiser online for the first time in its 24-year history. Despite our usually ticketed event becoming free to access online, the carol service raised £300,000 for Nordoff Robbins.

The carol service, The Stars Come Out To Sing For Christmas, aimed to raise vital funds for Nordoff Robbins after a devastating year of the pandemic. Throughout the event, we wanted to demonstrate the power of music to bring joy, connect people together and reach out to more audiences.

Our friends and partners of the event helped us promote, develop and deliver the service through donations of funds and services.

The incredible line-up would not have been possible without the hard work of the Hipgnosis Songs Fund and its CEO and Founder Merck Mercuriadis, who along with co-founder Nile Rodgers have worked tirelessly to rally many of the artists together for the special Christmas concert.

We would also like to thank Sony ATV and YouTube Music for their significant donations, partner SSE, Scala Radio our media partner for a second year running, Hipgnosis Songs Fund Limited as a funding partner and Modern English Digital as digital partner.
