We’re Embracing Passive Giving with Savoo, and so can you! 29th March 2016 News We are delighted to announce that we’ve recently partnered with online fundraising platform and Passive Giving advocates, Savoo Search, Save and Raise. Savoo.co.uk gives everyone the opportunity to raise money for our charity simply by searching and shopping online. How it works Put simply, Savoo will donate money to Nordoff Robbins for every free voucher code you use from their site. E.g. if you’re planning a holiday and want to save money on your booking, just find a deal or discount code at savoo.co.uk (e.g. £60 off), click ‘get code, go to site’ and once you’ve completed your booking (and enjoyed your discount), a percentage of Savoo’s commission (paid by the retailer, e.g. Thomas Cook) will go to Nordoff Robbins. But wait; there’s more… Savoo has also partnered with Bing to develop a search engine with a twist. When you visit savoo.co.uk and use their search engine in exactly the same way as you would Google, Savoo donates money to Nordoff Robbins. Search for absolutely anything and we’ll get 1p for every search made. You’ll be surprised how quickly that could stack up – just think about how often you Google stuff! All you need to do is visit savoo.co.uk and choose to support Nordoff Robbins – then get searching, saving and donating. Simon Bird, MD of Savoo Search, Save and Raise, comments: “We’re thrilled to be working with Nordoff Robbins and to now be able to support the fantastic work of music therapists nationwide. This unique charity has the power to improve the lives of people faced with a range of challenges such as autism, dementia and mental health problems, and we want to help them support more people in need. But to do this, we need your help. Spread the word about Passive Giving and get people donating for free at Savoo! ” More News MITs Award 2022: Jamal Edwards MBE to be honoured Jamal Edwards MBE is to be honoured with this year’s prestigious Music Industry Trusts Award (MITS), in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the music industry as a music entrepreneur, DJ and founder of the multifaceted music platform SB.TV.
