West London Music Festival – Meeting Purdy

Are you in London and free on Thursday? You’ll definitely want to be getting your hands on a ticket to the West London Music Festival!

Taking place from 7pm on 13 July at Bush Hall in Shepherd’s Bush, it’s looking to be a great event, organised by the wonderful singer/songwriter Purdy.

We asked Purdy for a few words about how she came to organise the night in support of Nordoff Robbins.

I have been singing all my life and ten years ago became lucky enough to make it my profession. During that time I have met and worked with hundreds of musicians. I love musicians and music people and our shared love of music has given us a real bond of friendship that will in many cases last a lifetime. I truly believe that music has saved me and that it heals both those who participate and those who just listen. It is indeed the soundtrack of our lives. For this reason I am so happy to be supporting Nordoff Robbins and am not surprised that it’s impact on people with a variety of special needs has been both impactful and inspirational. We are donating all profits from the West London Music Festival to Nordoff Robbins. Please come along and support us, and if you can’t make it please donate to Nordoff Robbins, your support will change lives!

Purdy has pulled together an amazing line-up of fellow performers, including Staxs, Sam Swallow, Shan Smile, Billy Phillips and the incredible Mica Paris.

Plus we’ll be serving up our Nordoff Robbins cocktail, based on a cocktail designed by drinks expert Tony Conigliaro for his Untitled Bar, with Beefeater London Dry Gin kindly provided by Pernod-Ricard UK.

There’s still time to get your tickets here.
