10-11th June 2017

Ride through the night from the Olympic Park in East London via either a 50 or 100km route, taking in London's top sights, latest attractions and famous landmarks whilst also changing lives through music with Nordoff Robbins.

The UK Beatbox Championships is one of the most prestigious and unique events in the British underground music calendar and we are delighted to be their chosen charity for the second year running.

Since 2005 the historic annual all-day event - part competition, part live show - has evolved into a jaw dropping, electrifying opportunity to see UK’s premier vocal artists and cutting edge artists push the boundaries of the human anatomy.

The Good Estate Agency is holding their second annual event in aid of Nordoff Robbins at Gusto Manchester on Thursday 17 November. This fabulous event will include an exclusive three course dinner and the unveiling of 12 original oil paintings incorporating some of Manchester’s most iconic buildings by acclaimed artist Angela Wakefield.

Roger Daltrey CBE, founding member of The Who, solo artist and tireless Teenage Cancer Trust Patron, was honoured last night with the Music Industry Trusts Award (MITS) as the event celebrated 25 years of raising money and supporting Nordoff Robbins and the BRIT Trust.

Nordoff Robbins are proud to announce that Karen Ann Allchurch, People Director for Arsenal Football Club has been appointed as a Board member and Trustee for the charity.

Karen Ann has been with Arsenal since 2010 and has built and manages a team of HR, Learning and Development and Safeguarding professionals.  Karen Ann is commercially astute with a demonstrable track record of success in formulating and delivering the club’s diverse people strategy across a global operation.

Launched by the Songwriting Academy, the ' UK Unsigned Songwriter of the Year 2016' competition which raised money for Nordoff Robbins, has announced its winner.

Nordoff Robbins are thrilled to announce an exclusive charity partnership with ‘SMITHS’ of Smithfield, the Grade II listed four-floor venue in the heart of Smithfield Market.

In the first year of the partnership, ‘SMITHS’ has set a contribution target of £50,000 which will be achieved through a variety of fundraising activities and charity evenings, including a dedicated Pop Quiz night in early 2017. Additionally, a 30p donation will be made by ‘SMITHS’ to every Breakfast Number 1 – the best-selling item on the menu - sold in the Ground Floor Café.

Are you an enthusiastic outgoing person with a passion for music? If so, Nordoff Robbins needs you!

Volunteering for charity is a fun and worthwhile experience and by donating your time you will be directly helping us to provide music therapy to vulnerable children and adults across the country while also meeting new people and learning new skills.
