Sony Music UK bursaries 2022

Thanks to Sony Music UK, we offer two bursaries in London, which will cover the £10,000 cost of tuition fees for our Master of Music Therapy programme.

Applications for the Sony Music UK Bursary 2022 are now closed.

At Nordoff Robbins, we stand for music and believe in the value of music for all people in our society.

Our vision is to live in a world where through music therapy, human potential is recognised regardless of profound disability, illness or social exclusion. Every year our music therapists make skilful use of music-making to help the lives of thousands of the country’s most vulnerable people.

Our Master of Music Therapy (MMT) programme

Our two-year, internationally renowned full-time Master of Music Therapy programme has been running since 1974, and is validated by Goldsmiths, University of London. Graduates of the programme are eligible to apply to the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) for registration as a music therapist, the legal pre-requisite for working as a music therapist in the UK.

The Sony Music UK Bursary

Thanks to Sony Music UK, we are offering two bursaries in London, worth £10,000 each for our Master of Music Therapy programme. This bursary aims to remove the barriers to access for anyone who may have previously faced challenges that meant undertaking our MMT was not an option.

The bursary will cover the tuition fees, however you will still have to pay for things such as psychotherapy, which we recommend budgeting £1,500 for as well as the additional cost of travel and books.
