Music Therapist Opportunities in ScotlandWe have exciting opportunities available for music therapists in Scotland, specifically in the Glasgow and Edinburgh regions and surrounding areas. What we can offer We are recruiting for Music Therapists in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and the surrounding regions. We also have a vacancy for Maternity Cover Music Therapist role for four days a week in Glasgow and surrounding regions from August 2019 with potential for becoming a permanent position. All roles are either three or four days with the possibility of being full time in consultation with the post holder and subject to partnerships being sourced. Nordoff Robbins offers excellent rates of pay, generous annual leave, regular supervision and CPD. The successful post holders would work remotely on most days, delivering music therapy in a range of settings, but as part of a much wider regional team with continual management and peer support. What we are looking for You must be a fully qualified music therapist, with use of your own car (as partnerships are in often in varied locations). The posts are open to applications from all HCPC-registered music therapists, including non-Nordoff Robbins trained music therapists. At Nordoff Robbins we are all about making music’s opportunities available to people who could benefit from them most, and that’s why we want to make the distinctive ‘music-centred’ Nordoff Robbins approach to music therapy available to more people in more places. We therefore ask applicants to explain in their application why they are keen to join us in working within this approach. Equally, we are prepared to offer active support to successful applicants who may not have been specifically trained to work this way, so we’d also like you to tell us how you think we could help you with this.
