Fundraise for us this Christmas (Choirs and music groups)
Make a difference this Christmas with your fundraising
In a choir, no one sings alone. Each voice matters. Together, you create something powerful through your community.
Now think about the joy and connection you feel when you sing together, and imagine sharing that transformative feeling with those who need it most.
Music therapy can improve the lives of people with all kinds of conditions, disabilities and life circumstances: from autism to dementia; learning difficulties to brain injuries; life-limiting illness to mental health challenges, grief and trauma.
Here at Nordoff and Robbins we exist to break through barriers with the power of music, creating space for people to express themselves and find connection in society.
By supporting our work, you can help us bring the power of music to more people and communities.

Help a child like Poppy shine this Christmas with your fundraising
For children like Poppy, music therapy has been transformative. Three-year-old Poppy lives with Rett syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects brain development. When words fail, music gives her a voice. It helps her connect with her family, express herself, and shine.
In every other situation, Poppy struggled to communicate. But with music, it was different. She was responding to us in ways we didn’t think were possible.

How your fundraising makes a difference
£500
Could go towards a block of 10 sessions for an online community choir, which supports around 40 people each week.
£960
Could fund a block of 12 music therapy sessions to help a child like Poppy connect with her family, express herself, and shine.
£1,900
Could fund a set of brand new musical instruments for a school. Without a range of musical instruments for our clients to play, there can be no music therapy.
