Partner with us

We collaborate with education, health and social care organisations, including schools, hospitals, day centres, care homes, hospices and more. We provide music therapy to the people they serve. Our music therapists provide a regular service on our partners’ premises. This is carefully tailored to fit with each partner’s ethos and the specific needs of their organisation.

The power of music

Music has the power to connect us, even when words fail. By making music in a collaborative way, we can learn to communicate, connect and be truly present. Our expert music therapists are trained to tune into the specific abilities, needs and responses of every individual. The positive impact on physical, social, mental and emotional wellbeing can be transformative.

For some people, music therapy is the reason they get up and dressed in the morning; supporting them to restore purpose and enjoyment in their lives. For others, it has offered a way to improve memory; enabling them to feel whole again and improve confidence.

Partner organisation services

Music therapy tailored to your organisation

Many of the clients we work with are already supported by education, health and social care organisations. From our experience, we believe our work is more effective when we meet clients where they are, working hand in hand with the people involved in their care.

That’s why we collaborate with hundreds of partners around the country to provide regular music therapy on their premises.

  • We work with a wide range of education, health and social care organisations, including schools, SEN provisions, hospitals, day centres, care homes, hospices, refuge centres, addiction clinics and homeless hostels.
  • All Nordoff and Robbins music therapists are highly trained and fully accredited, and their impact is closely monitored.
  • We will tailor the format to meet the needs of your community, whether one-to-one, small groups or large groups.
  • We can include staff, families and carers in our sessions when appropriate.
  • Our coverage is national, with support provided by regional teams that know your area.
  • We provide services at least one day a week, for 12 months at a time. We also offer shorter discounted pilots to see whether our services are right for your organisation.
