Heavy Metal Truants
Heavy Metal Truants is a group of music-loving fundraisers who support charities in the name of heavy metal.
Since 2013, metal fans, bands and industry types have raised millions of pounds through charitable activities such as the Monster Rock Auction, Heavy Metal Curries, and the now-legendary 175-mile cycle from London to Castle Donington for the annual Download festival.
The money raised is generously split between Nordoff and Robbins, Childline, Teenage Cancer Trust and Save the Children.
