PizzaExpress
Since its first restaurant opened in 1965, PizzaExpress has become a high street staple, known for its simple menu and warm service.
As well as loving Italian food, its founder Peter Boizot adored jazz, and music has always been part of the brand’s DNA. A jazz club in the basement of its Dean Street site became a celebrated destination, hosting the likes of Jamie Cullum and Norah Jones. The PizzaExpress Live entertainment brand now includes a collection of venues, events and original content.
Since 2021, PizzaExpress and Nordoff and Robbins have worked together to raise vital funds for music therapy across the UK. A 25p donation from every Padana pizza sold, as well as sponsorship of events and other fundraising initiatives has raised an incredible total of over £950,000. PizzaExpress Live sponsors our O2 Silver Clef Awards and sponsored our very first Northern Music Awards in 2024. They have also given customers of their Jazz Clubs the opportunity to donate at the point of buying tickets for their performances.
