The BRIT Trust
The BRIT Trust was established in 1989 by UK record labels and the wider music community. And we recently celebrated 35 years of our incredible partnership. You can read more on that here.
Funded largely by the proceeds of the BRIT Awards, it makes grants to a range of charities that promote education and wellbeing and inspire people to reach their full potential.
Since its inception, the trust has been a major provider of long-term funding for Nordoff and Robbins. Thanks to its generous support, we have been able to reach thousands of vulnerable and isolated people, offering hundreds of thousands of music therapy sessions in a host of clinical, educational and community settings, including refugee centres, dementia care homes, adult mental health units, hospices and schools.
We’re delighted that the BRIT Trust’s invaluable contribution to our work is set to continue, supporting music therapy delivery with clients including those with dementia as well as young people across the UK.
