PSE Belgium and PSE Germany raise €50,000 (and counting) for Nordoff and Robbins through limited-edition vinyl sales
Live music and events promoters PSE Belgium and PSE Germany have raised €50,000 and counting for our vital music therapy work, through sales of a limited-edition ‘Night of the Proms’ vinyl.
Jan Vereecke and Lukas Hohmeyer, long-time producers and promoters of Night of the Proms, presented a cheque to former Nordoff and Robbins Trustee and UTA’s Global Head of Touring, Neil Warnock MBE, Nordoff and Robbins CEO Sandra Schembri, and Sandy Trappitt, Director of Fundraising at Nordoff and Robbins, to recognise the achievement.
Led by PSE Belgium and PSE Germany, with support from us, the fundraiser centred around a special vinyl release linked to the promoter’s annual ‘Night of the Proms’ concert series.
About the ‘Night of the Proms’ vinyl
The limited-edition vinyl celebrates 40 years of live performances from the iconic ‘Night of the Proms’, an event that tours annually in Belgium and Germany.
Featuring live recordings from Ronan Keating, Simple Minds, Donna Summer, Nile Rodgers and many more, the unique vinyl brings the history of Night of the Proms back to life.
All proceeds from sales of the vinyl go directly to Nordoff and Robbins, supporting our commitment to boosting health, wellbeing and social inclusion through music therapy and advocating for music therapy to become a recognised, integrated and sustainable part of the UK’s health and care system.
The vinyl has been well received in Belgium and Germany and is expected to raise over €60,000 in the coming months for our music therapy work.

A word from those involved
Jan Vereecke, Managing Partner, PSE Belgium, said: “The response to the Night of the Proms vinyl release has been overwhelmingly positive, both from music fans and in terms of its fundraising impact. This shows how promoters can play a proactive role in supporting causes they care about, in our case Nordoff and Robbins, and we hope it inspires others to explore similar ideas.”
Lukas Hohmeyer, Managing Partner, PSE Germany, said: “We have supported Nordoff and Robbins since the German foundation was established in the 90s and are delighted to be able to make a further contribution with the ‘Best of’ vinyl.”
Neil Warnock MBE, Global Head of Touring, UTA, said: “Having supported Nordoff and Robbins, and worked closely with the PSE Belgium and Germany teams for many years, I’m really pleased with how this partnership has turned out. It’s a fantastic way to celebrate the legacy of this iconic concert series, give something back to fans, and raise money for an incredibly worthy cause. Charities are facing challenging times right now and I’d love to see more of these scalable, promoter-led fundraising initiatives happening across the industry in the future.”
Sandy Trappitt, Director of Fundraising, Nordoff and Robbins, said: “We’re hugely grateful to PSE Belgium and PSE Germany and the Night of the Proms team for their creativity and leadership on this project. It’s a brilliant example of how the live music industry can make a real difference to charities and the people they support. The money raised through this initiative will go directly towards giving more people the chance to connect and communicate through the power of music.”
