Paddy’s story
I work as a music therapist at Nordoff and Robbins. Each week I go into different partner organisations and deliver and develop a music therapy service at each one.
This looks different depending on where I’m at; from raucous renditions of ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ with a group at a drug and alcohol recovery center, to gentle windchime improvisations with children at a special educational needs school
I love working at Nordoff and Robbins because I’m able to be creative, to connect and work with a multitude of wonderful people, to work in diverse settings and explore frontiers of music therapy such as Ceilidh dancing. The workplace culture at Nordoff and Robbins is encouraging and friendly, and the organisation is full of top-grade humans.

Recently I have progressed into the Supporter Care Officer role within Nordoff and Robbins, this is a new position focused on retaining and maximising the support of our fundraisers and supporters across the UK by providing outstanding customer service.
