Bringing people together to support our mission

The power of participation

Fundraising for Nordoff and Robbins gives individuals, friends or small groups such as schools, clubs, choirs or bands the chance to enjoy a memorable experience while bringing people together in support of a meaningful cause. As Inez’s story shows, music therapy is based on the power of participation. Whether you’re organising an event or being sponsored for a challenge, fundraising draws on that same vital power.

The difference you can make

Music can break through when words fail. That’s why we strive to bring music therapy to thousands of people with life-limiting illnesses, disabilities and feelings of isolation.

How to organise a fundraiser

Step one

Think of an event or activity that makes the most of your interests and abilities. This might be an athletic challenge, a sale or a gig.

Step two

Set up an Enthuse page (an alternative to JustGiving!). This is the most secure and efficient way of getting funds to us.

Step three

Email [email protected] to tell us about your plans. We’ll be able to help you with advice, support and supplies. Download our fundraising guide here.

Set up a fundraising page on Enthuse

It’s simple to set up an Enthuse page. You can encourage your friends and family to support your fundraiser by sharing it on social media.

Partnerships

Through our charity partnerships, we develop relationships with businesses of all sizes that want to give something back to society. There is no set template for this. We work closely with our partners to create a model that fits with their mission. The benefits go both ways. While supporting our transformative work, our partners can enhance their brand, motivate their staff, and build valuable new connections.

Donate

If you’d like to support us by sending a simple donation, whether a one-off payment or a regular contribution, your generosity will have a meaningful impact. £10 could help maintain the instruments we use in music therapy. £20 could help pay for a music therapy session. £50 could go towards training a music therapist. £100 could support our pioneering research.
