Benefits of music therapy
Music therapy is a regulated health profession that uses collaborative music-making in many formats (such as song-writing or improvisation) to support people’s emotional, social, cognitive and physical needs. Our therapists work with people of all ages and abilities, including autistic children and adults, people with learning disabilities, people living with dementia, neurological conditions, mental health challenges, trauma or social isolation.
Our sessions help people:
- Connect and build relationships
- Reduce stress and improve wellbeing
- Grow confidence and self-esteem
- Communicate and express themselves
- Stay focused and motivated
