Music Mudder 2026 raises over £54,000 for music therapy
Music Mudder raises over £54,000 and counting for music therapy as more than 400 music industry peers take on the toughest, muddiest challenge on the industry calendar
The sixth edition of Music Mudder, the unique music-inspired endurance event organised by leading talent agency THE·TEAM in partnership with Nordoff and Robbins, brought the music industry together to raise vital funds for music therapy

The money raised through this year’s Music Mudder could fund over 650 music therapy sessions, kit out 30 schools with a full suite of instruments that could be used for music therapy, or contribute towards three students completing our two-year Master of Music Therapy programme.
Hosted by broadcaster, presenter and content producer Ore Olukoga, Music Mudder 2026 saw 52 teams from all corners of the music industry join together on Friday 11 September to tackle 35 adrenaline-pumping obstacles at a brand-new location this year, the Nuclear Races in Kelvedon Hatch, Brentwood.
Additionally, the LIVE·TEAM helped transform the event site with a wide range of branding and signage deployed to enhance the overall look and feel of the event.
James Osgood, from MUSIC·TEAM B, was the fastest to complete the 5.5km course in an impressive 39 minutes and 30 seconds. MUSIC·TEAM B also took the top spot as the fastest overall team, with an average time of 39 minutes and 39 seconds. WME won the top prize for team fundraising, with over £4,500 raised through Enthuse, while Academy Music Group’s Emma Thomas raised the most individually, bringing in £1,310.
Over £3,700 was raised through a prize draw on the day, with generously donated prizes including tickets to Mamma Mia! The Party, Kylie Minogue wine, a voucher for MEATliquor, tickets to Chelsea vs Hull, British Airways tickets, Marshall headphones and a portable Shark fan.
After crossing the finish line and receiving custom Music Mudder medals, competitors celebrated with music from DJs Max Martini, Amarachi Okewuihe and Ned Entwistle, who kept the energy up from Tune Trucks out on the course. Magic Number made sure the drinks were flowing and La Paella Paella helped competitors refuel with much-needed food after the course. Coffee and sweet treats were kindly provided by Meade’s Coffee and Dessert Bar.
Maria Neophytou, CEO, Nordoff and Robbins, said: “This was my first Music Mudder, and I was completely blown away by the scale and spirit of the day. From the moment I arrived, there was such a strong sense of energy, commitment and fun – and it was wonderful to see so many people putting themselves through the challenge in support of Nordoff and Robbins. It was a powerful introduction to an event that clearly means a great deal to the music industry and to our charity.”
Sandy Trappitt, Director of Fundraising, Nordoff and Robbins, said: “This year’s Music Mudder was another brilliant reminder of what happens when the music industry comes together with real purpose. More than 400 people took on the mud, the obstacles and the challenge, raising over £54,000 and counting to help more people access the life-changing power of music therapy. At a time when demand for our services continues to grow, every pound raised will make a real difference – from funding music therapy sessions to supporting the next generation of music therapists. We’re hugely grateful to THE·TEAM, to everyone who took part, donated, volunteered or cheered from the sidelines, and to all those who helped make the sixth Music Mudder such a success.”
Lucy Putman, Agent, THE·TEAM, said: “We’re incredibly proud to have brought the music industry together once again for the sixth Music Mudder in aid of Nordoff and Robbins. Seeing so many people throw themselves into the course for the greater good was a brilliant reminder of the generosity and community spirit that makes this event so special. We’ve now raised over £350,000 for the charity across six Music Mudders which is an amazing achievement, and we’re hugely grateful to every team, supporter, volunteer and partner who helped make it happen. It means a great deal to know that everyone’s efforts will help more people access vital music therapy services across the UK.”
