Music is a powerful thing. A universal language which we all have a connection to. And the way in which our therapists use music can be truly transformational.
Whether you’re pushing the pedals, strumming guitar strings for 24 hours or creating your own event with your school, University or community group, you’ll be raising money for music, and the people who need it most.

The difference your fundraising makes
Music can break through when words fail. That’s why we strive to bring music therapy to thousands of people with life-limiting illnesses, disabilities and feelings of isolation. Your fundraising will support some of the UK’s most isolated and vulnerable people, train the music therapists of tomorrow, and fund the research that makes our work increasingly effective. Take a look at some of our stories below to see the impact your fundraising can have.
Hear from some of our community fundraisers…
Ver Players
“I run a community ukulele group in St Albans: Ver Players. Each year we aim to put on a charity fundraising concert. We choose Nordoff and Robbins as playing [ukulele] often feels like our own version of music therapy as many of the players have said it has helped them through so many life issues.” ~ Stephen Wragg, founder of Ver Players.
Tongue and Groove choir
“Nordoff and Robbins have been suggested by one of our soprano singers this year as her Dad recently passed away but had great support from Music Therapy charity in Manchester for the last 10 years of his life that he really benefited from.”
Bradfield College
“The reason I chose Nordoff and Robbins is because it was so clear to see the community and love that is spread across the charity. The dedication of the staff seems unmatched and the supportive environment that is created just seemed really magical to me. Thank you for all that you do.”
~ Bradfield College Student
