There are an estimated 900,000 people currently living with dementia in the UK. This number is expected to rise to nearly 1.6 million in 2040 as the population proportionately ages. As dementia becomes a crucial issue within the landscape of UK health policy, attention to the use and benefits of music therapy for people living with dementia has grown.
