Without music therapists, there can be no music therapy. £23,000 could fund the two-year training course for a music therapist.
What type of gift can I leave?
There are different types of gifts you can leave in your will. The two most common are:
- Cash gift (officially known as a pecuniary gift) – this is a fixed sum of money (for example, £100).
- Percentage gift (officially known as a residuary gift – this is a proportion of your remaining estate after all other gifts have been paid out (for example, 5%).
There’s no obligation when using our free wills service but a gift of just 1-5% of the average estate can make a huge difference and help ensure that everyone who could benefit from music therapy has access to it.

Farewill offer an online will writing service which can take less than 30 minutes, and you can tick off this off your to-do list from the comfort of your own home. The online service is only available for people living in England and Wales at the moment.
If you’re based in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can still access this offer via the free telephone wills service. All you need to do it book a call with Farewill’s will specialists to discuss your needs.
